Hand Painted San from the classic/ one of my favorite films Princess Mononoke. As one of my favorite characters and movies adaptation I made sure to focus hard on keeping the color bold and the intensity of scene. The destruction of the orange inferno was quite difficult to maintain and blend but I was happy with it nonetheless. I first drew it in pencil then went over with sharpie to darken the lines. Once I felt comfortable with the form and details I then used a fine brush to go over with acrylic ink for the black.
