5x7 print of a 22x28- Mixed Media/Acrylic commission I was commissioned to do Darth Vader. The original may be sold but prints are available. It was made clear to keep the sci fi roots in the piece. Thats why the geometric greyish shapes are in the background to go with the Deathstar and also the sci fi look. I chose to do an upclose shot of the Sith Lord. I had the color red reflecting on his face for the hue of his light saber. It also helped emphasize the evil within. The colors are strongly saturated and bold, with solid line work. Hand painted with acrylic paint on a backstapled canvas.
