Hand Painted Kitaro & Daddy Eyeball from the classic series Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro in a stylized Pop Art piece show casing the ominous atmosphere the series takes. The series has been around since 1971 and has changed through time. The updated version of the characters and saturated colors reflect the current version of the series. The colors and heavy line work was something I really try to strive for in all my pieces. I grew up seeing the series in passing and was always intrigued.
