Hand made painting/ink drawing of the 2 characters from the early 2000's Nickelodeon series Invader Zim. Unfortunately I never had to chance to be an avid viewer of the series growing up but I definitely noticed its popularity. I created this 2 piece set to feature the 2 most noticeable characters from the series, Zim and Gir. I used a color splash style for the background and a lighter purple color for Zim's image because there was always a noticeable purple tint to a lot of the images and scenes in Invader Zim. Green for Girs overall color considering he himself was green. I added a paint splash effect with dark line work to outline the characters. I splash the color first with various brushes then draw over after it is dried. Perfect for any nostalgic fan of the series growing up.
