Hand made painting/ink drawings of 6 of the main characters from the classic Martial Arts Comedy series Ranma 1/2. I grew up on this series and have a strong connection to these characters. I used a color splash style for the background for each piece then drew and inked the characters over it. This set includes Ranma(male ver.), Ranma(Female ver.), Akane, Ryoga, Shampoo and Ukyo. The series is filled with some vibrant, silly, random and odd ball characters. The color palette on each piece is relatable to each individual character. I added a paint splash effect with dark line work to outline the characters. I splash the color first with various brushes then draw over after it is dried.
