The Major

16x20- Mixed Media/ Acrylic Ink hand Painted Major Kusanagi from the anime series for the classic Ghost in the shell. I grew up with the classic film and series so it was a pleasure to do it. I first drew it in pencil then went over with sharpie to darken the lines. Once I felt comfortable with the form and details I then used a fine brush to go over with acrylic ink for the black. The vibrant red was done with spray paint and was pleasantly surprised by the results.
